ELECT (English Language Education and Current Trends) is an English language journal published periodically twice a year in April and October by the English Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Bung Hatta, Padang Indonesia. Each issue of the publication contains ten articles. ELECT focuses on the phenomenon of any aspects of teaching and learning English as a foreign language either in formal or informal settings. The scientific quality and novelty of the papers become our main considerations.  Authors must register to this journal before submitting their work and they must follow the Author Guidelines of the journal. Submissions that do not adhere to the guidelines provided will be REJECTED. Please submit your article through the online submission of this journal.
